Why we started
Generalist agencies kept sending the wrong Houdini people
Supervisors told us the same story. They'd ask for an FX TD who could own a destruction sequence and receive CVs from motion designers who had opened Houdini once. Every CV said "Houdini". Hardly any said which part.
So we built a team that reads a role the way a lead does. We ask which solvers, which renderer, how much of the job is tools and how much is shots. Then we only put forward people who have done that work.
Artists get the same care. We review reels properly, give specific feedback, and never send a CV to a studio without the candidate saying yes first.
How we work
Three rules we don't break
read_the_network
Understand the work first
We learn the shots, the pipeline and the team before we search, so the shortlist fits the job you actually have.
honest_feedback
Specific feedback, every time
Candidates who don't progress hear exactly why. Studios hear what the market will and won't accept.
ask_before_send
Consent before any CV moves
Your details go nowhere without your explicit yes for that specific studio and role.
